The One Visit Crown (OVC)
Rhondium Dental Laboratories is excited to introduce the OVC. The OVC is an innovative custom-made crown and onlay laboratory service that enables dentists to prepare and place tooth coloured, full coverage restorations in one appointment without the need for a CAD/CAM system.

How the OVC works
At the end of the patient consultation a quick PVS impression is taken of the tooth to be restored, PRIOR to tooth prepping.
The impression is sent to Rhondium Dental Laboratories with a completed prescription form. The custom-made crown/onlay is created, packaged and returned to the practice, together with a custom-made Occlusal Seating Guide.
The tooth is prepared and the OVC4 is fitted by the clinician in just ONE appointment, usually in 30-45 minutes.

The McDonald Matrix Band
McDonald Matrix Bands are individually contoured for each specific tooth. With their unique tightening mechanism, you can achieve outstanding anatomical contouring and Tofflemire like tightness without the downsides.
OVC Wedges
The innovative OVC Wedge design helps build up deep cavities and form a natural contour. They are especially good for restoring badly broken down teeth and performing deep margin elevation.
